Your first call

You will first speak to a trained mobility advisor, who will talk to you about how you are currently managing at the moment, and your future motoring requirements. We don't just want to sell you a car; we are here to make sure you have all the information to choose the vehicle conversion that best suits your needs. From our Fiat Doblo, which has the best internal space for a wheelchair in its class, to the exclusive Gowrings Mobility Vauxhall Combo Tour, through to the larger MPV's such as the Chrysler Grand Voyager - we have a vehicle to suit you. We will ask you a number of questions about your wheelchair, how many members are in your family, the types of journeys you would like to make, and also advise you on funding options, including finance and the Motability scheme.

To ensure we have understood your needs and requirements fully, the next step is a free no-obligation home demonstration. We bring our vehicles to you - we believe the best way for you to experience a Gowrings Mobility vehicle is local to your home, doing the things you do, and going where you would like to go. This way, you can confirm that the vehicle is the most appropriate for the wheelchair user, the carer and all the family members.

We recruit our demonstrators from a team of semi-retired professionals who love to drive around the country meeting our customers. They have no time limits or quotas, and typical visits include going on a drive around the countryside or a local trip to try out all the wheelchairs and equipment you may use. At the end of the visit, the demonstrator will write a full written report that goes straight back to your personal mobility advisor.

Our demonstration team are not part of the sales team - so they won't talk to you about money - they are simply there to show you the benefits and features of the vehicle.

This service is free, it is unique and we will never sell you a car without insisting on one.

Delivering Your Vehicle

Once you are happy you have chosen the right vehicle for you and your family, you'll be assigned a specialist in our team to help with paperwork and organise everything that is involved in arranging the smooth delivery of your vehicle. Upon delivery, we will take the time to show you the vehicles features again, to ensure you fully understand all of the vehicle functions - and most importantly, that you are ready to get on the road!

Aftercare

Gowrings Mobility leads the industry with our after sales programme; we know it is vital to keep you on the road.

In the event of a repair or any problems, our Customer Care Team will work closely with your local garage or dealer to ensure your vehicle is back on the road as quickly as possible. Some parts of the vehicle are specially made for our converted vehicles, such as elements of the fittings and we can supply these direct to your local dealer, usually within 24 hours.

Our Customer Care Department is very experienced and they are responsible for ensuring you have the finest possible service throughout the life of your vehicle.
