New Managing Director Announced
Gowrings Mobility would like to announce that the current Chairman and Managing Director, Colston Herbert, has decided after consultation with the Board that he should relinquish his role as Managing Director from the end of September 2008. In order to ensure the key strategic issues facing the business gain sufficient focus, it is felt that the roles should once again be split.
Consequently, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the role of Managing Director will be assumed by Nicola Moggs, who previously held the position of Finance and Manufacturing Director at Gowrings Mobility. Nicola brings with her many years of experience leading core functions at Gowrings and has played an instrumental role in turning business performance around over the last 3-4 years.
Colston will now assume the role of Executive Chairman and will continue to focus on the strategic development of the business as well as working closely with Nicola on operational matters.
The Board would like to express its deep gratitude to Colston for his commitment, enthusiasm and considerable business experience.
In addition to Nicola Moggs and Colston Herbert, the Board of Directors remains with Linda Ling as Director, Janet Seward as Sales & Marketing Director, and Fiona Millyard as Operations Director.
